Joan Aballí joined Garrigues in 2017 and has built his professional career in the firm's Litigation Department, playing a prominent role in complex and high-stakes criminal proceedings. His practice spans a wide range of cases, including representing individuals and companies in judicial proceedings—both in prosecution and defense roles—as well as managing and assessing criminal risks in various corporate transactions.
He has extensive experience in evaluating criminal risks related to corporate transactions and in designing and implementing criminal risk management systems aimed at preventing, identifying, and, when necessary, addressing potential misconduct within corporate environments.
Joan’s approach blends deep technical expertise with strong analytical skills, enabling him to identify and anticipate potential criminal contingencies and develop effective strategies to mitigate them.
