Jesús Tejado is a senior associate in the Labor and Employment practice of Garrigues, the firm at which he has spent his entire professional career.
He specializes in labor and employment law and, principally, in strategic aspects of labor relations and human resources, such as: recurring labor law advice, collective bargaining with workers’ representatives and union representatives, dealings with the labor and social security inspection authorities, direct involvement in labor disputes and workforce restructuring processes - advising on both the strategy and preparation phases and on negotiation and implementation.
During his career at Garrigues, he has participated in numerous engagements and is currently a legal advisor with proven experience in the areas of labor relations and human resources, employment contracts, outsourcing, remuneration, collective bargaining, social security, labor-related litigation and occupational risk prevention. He advises large- and medium- sized companies, both Spanish and international, operating in a range of sectors.
He is a lecturer on the Master’s Degree in People Management at Universidad Internacional de Andalucía and has also taught on the Master’s Degree for Access to the Legal Profession at Universidad de Sevilla, as well as at Instituto de Estudios Cajasol.
He is a regular speaker at seminars, symposiums and specialist courses on employment law and strategic aspects of human resources organized by the Chambers of Commerce of Sevilla and Badajoz, the Cadiz Confederation of Business Owners and Garrigues, among others.
