Javier Monserrat Rodríguez is a senior associate in the Administrative Law and Planning and Zoning, E.U. & Antitrust, and Real Estate practices, as well as in the Family Business practice in the civil and succession law areas.  

He has a wealth of experience in the administrative law field, where he as progressively specialized in matters such as public procurement, infrastructure project finance, zoning and planning, in addition to other general matters (penalty, judicial review, condemnation proceedings, public property and special properties, etc.) on which he regularly advises both individuals and companies as well as the public authorities.

As a member of the antitrust law area, he has participated in advisory services relating to competition restricting agreements and practices.

In the real estate law field, he has advised on real estate due diligence, acquisition and lease processes.

Lastly, in the family business area, he regularly advises on civil law matters (mainly succession law).

He has been a speaker in talks and conferences on topics related to this specialization, particularly on public procurement, condemnation proceedings, late payment by the public authorities, and civil law aspects of business succession planning.
