Ignacio Villanueva is a principal associate in the Litigation and Arbitration practice.
Have joined GARRIGUES in 2005, he has a wealth of experience in civil law proceedings, having defended and represented clients in numerous civil and commercial lawsuits relating to such matters as obligations and contracts, tortious liability, corporate law, construction defects, leases, distribution, etc.
He has also participated in arbitration proceedings conducted at the main national arbitration courts (Arbitration Court of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Civil and Commercial Court of Arbitration).
In addition, he also has experience in criminal proceedings relating to crimes against property, against the public authorities, as well as corporate and white collar crime.
Lecturer in the Master’s Degree in Tax and Legal Counseling for Businesses (2007 to 2011), in collaboration with the Valladolid Chamber of Commerce and the Law Department of the University of Valladolid.
