Henar López de Jaime is a principal associate the Litigation, Arbitration, Restructuring and Insolvency Team of Garrigues in Barcelona.

She provides recurring advice and defence in litigation in any proceedings in the areas of civil, commercial and insolvency law. In addition, she advises on out-of-court relations and disputes. She also participates in *due diligence* reports on share and/or assets deals and sale purchase transactions and investments.

With a Law degree in ESADE (Universitat Ramon Llull) and two masters’ dregrees, she has more than ten years' experience in the litigation practice.

Henar López de Jaime is a principal associate the Litigation, Arbitration, Restructuring and Insolvency Team of Garrigues in Barcelona.

In her professional activity she provides advisory services in the areas of civil and commercial litigation and insolvency law. Particularly, she has wide experience in:

Strategic, global and complete advising on issues of general private law, and client's interests defense in out-of-court and judiciary scenarios.

Civil and commercial disputes over contractual matters such as termination, fulfilment or interpretation of any kind of civil or commercial contract, real estate and construction law, corporate disputes and conflicts, shares/assets purchases agreements, non-contractual liability, unfair competition, directors’ liability, etc.

Advising financial institutions in foreclosure proceedings on collateral and personal guarantees for the recovery of claims, debt portfolio purchases and proceedings related to validity and performance of banking contracts.

General advice in insolvency proceedings, both from creditor and debtor perspectives, both during the pre-insolvency phase and the insolvency proceedings. Furthermore, she has handled winding-up and qualification sections in insolvency proceedings and purchases of production units of insolvent or pre-insolvent companies.

General advice and participation in arbitration proceedings.

Participation in due diligence reports on share and/or assets deals and sale purchase transactions and investments.
