Francisco Sánchez is the partner in charge of the Tax Department of Garrigues in Murcia, where he has pursued his professional career following a period at Arthur Andersen. He specializes in Tax Law, especially in the agro-business and industrial sectors. He has also participated in numerous M&A transactions and is a recognized expert in accounting law and family business consultancy.
His areas of expertise include patrimonial planning of business families, both in all tax aspects relating to the management and family patrimony inheritance, as well as in family protocols development or implementation of family councils that channel the will of the property of family companies.
As expert of the problems that characterize this type of companies, he is actively involved in analyzing and designing measures that allow the business fabric of the Region of Murcia to optimize the management of its businesses and patrimonies.
On the other hand, his extensive experience has given him the chance to collaborate with the multinational groups present in the Region, satisfying the information and advisory needs that such investors require and facilitating their relations with the Tax Administration.
He is lecturer on various Masters and Courses, among others: “Master Universitario en Gestión de Empresas” organized by the University of Murcia, the “Executive Master en Dirección de Empresas” managed by the Association for Managerial Progress (APD), or the “Curso de Dirección de Empresas Familiares” organized by the Family-Owned Business Chair and the Family Business Murcia Association (Amefmur).
Sánchez Baeza is a member of the College of Economists of Murcia and Albacete and collaborates actively in tax and legal matters with different professional and business associations as the Region of Murcia Circle of Economy, the Association for Managerial Progress, the Family Business Murcia Association (Amefmur), Chamber of Commerce, Croem, etc.
