Francisco José Irarrázaval is an senior associate in the Energy and Administrative Law practice.
He has broad experience in assisting businesses in all regulated sectors and in the energy sector in particular, where he has advised both international companies on setting up in Chile and Chilean companies on their international expansion, advising on all aspects of projects and industry legislation. He has also participated in a wide range of sale and purchase transactions relating to some of the main energy industry projects.
He also provides recurring advice on regulatory and corporate matters in the main M&A and corporate restructuring transactions performed by these companies, as well as by private equity firms and industrial companies.
He has been an associate professor at Universidad de Los Andes since 2016, teaching the electricity law course which forms part of the university’s public law department.
