Esther Vidal Falcó is a partner in the Tax department. She joined Garrigues in September 2005 and has pursued her professional career at the firm since then.

She has extensive experience in providing tax advice to family businesses and their shareholders and has participated in numerous corporate reorganization processes.

She provides ongoing tax advice to major business groups, in addition to advising individuals and family businesses/groups on a recurring basis in relation to personal income tax, wealth tax, corporate income tax and inheritance and gift tax, etc.

She also frequently takes part in seminars and conferences organized by Garrigues and is a member of the Barcelona Economists’ Association.

Numerous engagements in the area of wealth tax:

- Analysis of ownership and group structures, identifying existing inefficiencies and determining the best structure from a tax and wealth management standpoint (from the perspective of both shareholders and the group).
- Identification of the investment vehicles which are best suited to the strategy and intentions of the owner.
- Design and implementation of planning strategies which enable the transfer of ownership in the context of a tax-efficient succession from all possible perspectives (location of assets, design of the ownership structure, assistance with the design and drafting of prenuptial agreements, wills, etc.).
- Coordination of multidisciplinary work teams, making it possible to give an effective response to tax- or wealth-related problems that may arise.

In addition, she provides ongoing tax advice to major business groups, in addition to advising individuals and family businesses/groups on a recurring basis in relation to personal income tax, wealth tax, corporate income tax and inheritance and gift tax, etc.
