Elisa Caldeiro has been a partner in the Labor and Employment Law Department since September 1998, where she practices in the areas of labor and employment and social security law, particularly in the field of labor and employment litigation. She handles both the management of complex litigation and the provision of recurring advice on labor law matters, bringing to bear her extensive experience in advising companies in a wide range of industries (consulting, distribution, chemical industry, perfumery and the like, construction, advertising, securities market, metal industry, catering, contact centers, etc.) and on all kinds of matters (lawsuits, collective bargaining, restructurings, etc.). Law Degree, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

Elisa Caldeiro is a partner in the Labor and Employment Law Department of Garrigues, having joined the firm in September 1998.

She has extensive experience in all areas of labor and social security law: ongoing advice, legal representation of companies in all types of individual and collective proceedings before the labor courts, representation of companies in proceedings initiated by the employment and social security inspection authorities, collective bargaining (heading the negotiations of numerous company collective labor agreements), collective layoffs, collective modification of working conditions, labor union elections, etc.

The advisory services she provides cover recurring advice to companies in a wide range of industries: chemical industry, perfumery, consulting, distribution, advertising, securities market, metal industry, catering, contact centers, etc.

She lecturers on the Executive Master’s Degree in Labor Relations and the Master’s Degree in Fashion Business &amp; Law at Centro de Estudios Garrigues.

- “Comentarios a la Ley Concursal” (Commentary on the Insolvency Law) published by Marcial Pons (Colección Garrigues), as author of the chapter entitled “Efectos de la declaración del concurso sobre las relaciones laborales del deudor: la reforma del artículo 32 del Estatuto de los Trabajadores” (Effects of an insolvency order on the debtor’s employment relations: the reform of article 32 of the Workers’ Statute).
- “Estudios jurídicos sobre operaciones de reestructuración societaria” (Legal studies on corporate restructuring transactions) published by Thomson Aranzadi (Colección Garrigues), as author of the chapter “El contrato de alta dirección en operaciones de reestructuración empresarial” (Senior management employment contracts in corporate restructuring transactions).
