Giovanni has over 7 years of experience in the tax field, in the areas of consulting and litigation, having been involved in important proceedings between taxpayers and the tax authorities in both the administrative and court jurisdictions. His experience and knowledge in the area have allowed him to participate in the construction and implementation of various strategies for different national and transactional groups, to reduce their tax burdens and fully comply with their tax obligations. He has also assisted several corporate groups in the design and implementation of strategies to obtain tax refunds.

Giovanni Morales is a senior associate in the Tax Practice. His experience centers on: *(i)* the construction and implementation of various strategies and negotiations with national and foreign tax authorities, *(ii)* tax consultations at a local and cross-border level, *(iii)* and the filing of different legal actions and alternative dispute resolution methods, depending on the specific case.

He is fluent in Spanish and English.
