Diego Casanueva is a counsel in the Tax Law Department of Garrigues, where he has been advising leading companies in Castilla y León since 2006 in areas such as Direct Taxation, Family Business, Tax Procedure, Real Estate Taxation and Agribusiness.

He holds a degree in Law from the University of Salamanca. He is a regular speaker at various talks and conferences organised by the firm in conjunction with various regional institutions. He has been a lecturer on Corporate Tax in the Master's Degree in Business

Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Valladolid and the Chamber of Commerce of Valladolid.

Diego Casanueva is a counsel in the Tax Law Department of the Valladolid office of Garrigues, which he joined in 2006 after several years practising law in a local firm. In his professional activity he has advised the main companies in the Region on matters such as:

- In Corporate Tax, both from an individual and consolidated point of view.
- He has participated in numerous corporate reorganisations of family groups.
- In the field of tax proceedings, he has represented clients both in the inspection phase and in economic-administrative and contentious-administrative proceedings.
- He has extensive experience in advising agri-food companies.
- He is regularly involved in M&amp;A transactions with a tax component.
