Daniel Morata is a senior associate in the Litigation and Arbitration practice area.
He has more than fifteen years’ experience in civil and corporate/commercial litigation, covering all kinds of court and arbitration proceedings in the fields of contract law, corporate/commercial law and company law.
He specializes in insolvency law and has acted as legal counsel in numerous insolvency proceedings, representing both insolvent companies and creditors. He has been registered as an insolvency manager at the Registry of Insolvency Managers kept by the Valencia Bar Association since 2009.
He has lectured on a number of academic topics such as: (i) “Commentary on insolvency legislation”, at Centro de Estudios Financieros (November 2004 – February 2005); (ii) “Occupational accidents and criminal liability”, on the occupational accidents course organized by the Valencia Bar Association; and (iii) on the Master’s Degree in Business Law organized by J&A Garrigues, S.L.P. in conjunction with Harvard University, School of Law.
Daniel Morata is a member of the Valencia Bar Association.
