Clara Rodrigues Araújo is a Senior Associate in the tax area and has more than 6 years of experience in all aspects of this area of law.

Thus, despite her special focus on asset restructuring of private clients, especially high-net-worth clients, she also has vast experience in providing tax advice in the scope of mergers and acquisitions processes as well as other corporate reorganization operations, especially in the international context. In addition, Clara Rodrigues Araújo has experience in providing day-to-day tax advice to companies and individuals, including in tax litigation and compliance areas.

Clara Rodrigues Araújo is a Senior Associate in the tax department at Garrigues. In her activity, she has participated in several areas of taxation, namely:

- Consulting in the scope of corporate restructuring and reorganization processes both in national and international context, in particular in mergers and acquisitions;
- Consulting in the structuring of real estate projects for national and foreign investors;
- Consulting in asset restructuring of individuals, in particular high net worth inidviduals;
- Compliance and due diligence processes;
- Day-to-day tax advice to companies;
- Tax litigation processes and procedures.

Throughout her professional career, she has worked actively in the area of Tax Law.

Clara Rodrigues Araújo started her professional career at Telles, in the area of TAX.

Before working at Garrigues, Clara Rodrigues Araújo worked at EY in the international tax consultancy department (2017-2018) and she was a lawyer at PLMJ (2018-2021).

Clara Rodrigues Araújo has a law degree for the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra and she concluded her Master in Tax Law from the Catholic University of Portugal Law School.

Clara Rodrigues Araújo has also attended post-graduate studies on Tax Litigation from the Catholic University of Portugal Law School.
