César Acosta Criado is a partner in the Canary Islands offices.

He specializes in Tax Law, and special mention should be made of his status as a specialist in all tax aspects related to the application of the Economic and Tax Regime of the Canary Islands and, particularly, of the Canary Islands Special Zone, as well as a specialist in Tax Litigation. His experience has allowed him to participate in the legal direction of numerous proceedings before the economic-administrative courts and the courts of justice, including the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court.

He has special experience in various business sectors such as Tourism and Hotels, Energy, Real Estate and Financial Institutions.

With a degree in Law from the University of Granada and a Master's Degree in Tax Law from Centro de Estudios Garrigues, he is a lecturer in the MBA at Universidad Europea de Canarias and the Master's Degree in Taxation at Universidad del Atlántico Medio.

He has wide experience in advising in relation to:

- Economic and Tax Regime of the Canary Islands, especially in all aspects related to the Canary Islands Special Zone and the fit of this regime in Community Law.
- Tax Litigation, specialty in which his experience has allowed him to participate in the legal direction of numerous proceedings before the economic-administrative courts and the courts of justice, including the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court.
- Corporate Taxation, advising large business groups in various sectors of activity such as Tourism, Energy, Real Estate and Financial Institutions.
