Carlota Sanín is a senior associate in Garrigues’ Corporate/Commercial Law Department, where she specializes in corporate law, commercial contracts and mergers and acquisitions. She handles sale and purchase transactions and business restructuring and also provides recurring advice on corporate and commercial matters, including board secretarial services.

She has a Degree in Law and an Associate’s Degree in International Relations from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE E-1) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Legal Practice from Instituto de Empresa and Northwestern University.

Carlota Sanín has been a senior associate of Garrigues’ Corporate/Commercial Law Department since 2015, having joined the firm in 2009.

She has extensive experience in corporate sales and purchases in various sectors and in business restructuring, including mergers, spin-offs, transformations and contributions of lines of business.

She provides recurring advice on corporate and contract law, with extensive experience in complex commercial contracts, in advising managing bodies on compliance with their legal obligations, attending shareholders’ meetings and board secretarial services.
