Benigno Maújo is a senior associate of the Labor and Employment Law Department of Garrigues and joined the firm in 2018. He has extensive experience in acting as legal counsel in numerous court proceedings and specializes in the areas of social security, occupational risk prevention and collective bargaining. He regularly provides advice in these areas in the regions of Asturias and Castilla y León.

He has a Dual Degree in Law and Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE-E3) and a Dual Master’s Degree for Access to the Legal Profession and Business Law from the same university.

He regularly contributes to the Garrigues blog. He is fluent in Spanish and English.

Benigno Maújo is a senior associate in the labor and employment practice area.

He has extensive experience in judicial and nonjudicial proceedings throughout Spain, in the areas of labor law, social security and occupational risk prevention. In particular, Benigno Maújo has been involved in numerous administrative and court proceedings relating to occupational accidents, and has spoken at seminars in Asturias and Castilla y León on employer liability in occupational risk prevention.

In the field of labor relations, he provides recurring advice on all kinds of collective proceedings, such as material modifications to working conditions, layoffs or termination of individual labor relationships, and also on the negotiation of collective labor agreements and company agreements.

He is fluent in Spanish and English.

Benigno Maújo is a member of the Oviedo Bar Association.
