Arturo Gutiérrez is a principal associate in the corporate law department at Garrigues. He specialises in the areas of investment and divestment in real estate assets (including instruments with underlying real estate assets) and in the activity of investment funds in the real estate sector. He has advised national and international clients on the acquisition and sale of real estate assets of various types (hotel complexes, office buildings, industrial warehouses, shopping centres, residential developments, different types of land, etc.) and on the creation of various structures (including joint ventures) and financing transactions related to the real estate sector. He holds a Law Degree and a Master in International Business Law, both from ESADE.

Arturo Gutiérrez joined Garrigues' Corporate Department in 2014 and has advised on real estate transactions and in transactions with underlying real estate assets of all kinds, including:

- Acquisitions, disposals, leases and sale&amp;leasebacks in practically all real estate sectors: residential, logistics, offices, hotels, shopping centres, student residences, senior living, coliving and serviced apartments.
- Build-to-rent transactions in the residential and logistics sectors.
- Formalization of joint ventures for the development, investment and operation of real estate projects of all types.
- Real estate project finance/direct lending transactions.
- Construction and development agreement, and other agreements for the provision of services related to the construction process.
- Servicing, property and asset management agreements.
- Purchase and sale of NPL portfolios.
