Antonio Olivera Tizne has spent his entire professional career in the Tax department of the firm’s Bilbao office, which he joined in 1987.
He has practiced professionally for over 30 years and has extensive experience in indirect taxation, which he combines with his expertise in areas such as the provision of ongoing advisory tax advisory services; mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations; due diligence processes; family businesses; tax procedures and inspections; transfer pricing and the valuation of transactions. He has the knowledge required to adopt a coordinated approach which takes into account all the various tax and legal aspects of the operations in which he is involved.
He is a member of the Señorío de Vizcaya Bar Association.
Antonio obtained a degree in Law, specializing in business law, from Universidad de Deusto in 1985.
He has participated as a speaker in numerous seminars and conferences organized by Garrigues and by other entities and associations, including Universidad de Deusto, Universidad de Barcelona, the Basque Association of Economists, the Guipuzkoa Bar Association, and Editorial Aranzadi.
He regularly contributes to Blog de Fiscalidad Foral de Garrigues (on provincial taxation) and has written numerous articles for the mainstream press, the economic press, and for specialist publications.
