Álvaro Pérez is a partner in the Labor and Employment Department at Garrigues, where he practices as a labor and employment lawyer. He has extensive experience in providing employment and social security advice to national and international companies in all areas, including recurring employment advice, defence in litigation before the labour courts, advice and strategy in corporate acquisitions and measures involving collective processes with workers' legal representatives (collective bargaining agreements, company agreements, collective dismissal proceedings, temporary layoffs, substantial changes to working conditions and transfers). Graduate and Master's Degree in Labour Law from ESADE Law School. Executive Master's Degree in Business Law from Centro de Estudios Garrigues in collaboration with Harvard Law School.

Álvaro Pérez has been a partner in Garrigues' Employment Department since 2025, joining the firm in 2010.

In his professional activity, he provides recurring employment advice to the firm's various clients, both national and international. He has been involved in significant and highly complex matters, including litigation before all judicial levels, corporate restructuring operations with major repercussion and social impact, and has extensive experience in strategic advice on the management of labour relations and labour law in Spain.

He is fluent in Spanish, English and Catalan.
