### **Melissa Núñez and Hugo Forno join our Peru office**

Garrigues has bolstered its Lima office with [the incorporation of a team of five highly-regarded lawyers](http://www.garrigues.com/en_GB/new/garrigues-adds-litigation-and-arbitration-practice-its-offering-peru-hiring-five-strong-team-0) to establish its litigation and arbitration practice in Peru. The team is led by **Hugo Forno** and **Melissa Núñez**. With the incorporation of an area of such relevance for the firm at a global level, Garrigues continues the process of consolidation of both its Lima office and its Latin American practice; it already has litigation and arbitration areas in the offices of Bogota and Santiago de Chile.

### **Recent appointments**

**Joe Tirado** (London) has been appointed by World Bank President and Chair of ICSID's administrative council, **Jim Yong Kim,** to ICSID´s prestigious panel of conciliators.

Joe has also recently been appointed to the Arbitrator and Mediator panels of the Arbitration and Mediation Court of the Caribbean, the Astana International Financial Centre International Arbitration Centre and the BVI International Arbitration Centre.
