[Decree-Law no. 141/2017, of November 14th](https://dre.pt/application/conteudo/114200698), was officially published, establishing several supporting measures for the taxpayers with tax residence in the municipalities affected by the fires of October 15th.







Ongoing, or to be initiated, tax execution procedures by the Tax Authorities, Social Security or any other entity involved in the legal proceedings of a tax execution are suspended. The deadline for compliance of certain tax obligations is extended, specifically Special Payments on Account, Value Added Tax, Municipal Tax on Immovable Property, and withholding tax regarding PIT and CIT.
