Garrigues was recognised as *Law Firm of the Year - Iberia* by the British publication The Lawyer at its annual European awards ceremony (The Lawyer European Awards 2024), one of the most prestigious in the global legal sector.

Last year, the firm also won this recognition, for which the leading Spanish and Portuguese law firms are eligible.

This recognition takes into account the fact that 2023 was a great year for Garrigues on a number of fronts: revenue (it was the first EU law firm to break the €450 million barrier); ESG (launch of a Sustainability Plan with specific targets); generative AI (it developed its own native model, in addition to making different LLMs available to professionals) and the launch of the digital business division, g-digital, among other things.

Rafael Calvo and Juan José Berdullas, partners at Garrigues in London, accepted the award at a gala event attended by leading representatives of the legal sector.
