# Garrigues receives top rankings in eight practice areas from Chambers & Partners

Garrigues has received the top ranking in Spain in eight out of the twelve practice areas analyzed by the Chambers Global Guide to law firms and lawyers, published by Chambers and Partners. In this latest edition, Garrigues received top honors in the areas of telecommunications, media and technology, real estate, project finance, private equity, public law, and employment, and continues to lead in the litigation and tax areas. In preparing the guide, Chambers and Partners researched the most significant transactions performed by law firms operating in Spain and examined client feedback.
Garrigues has received the top ranking in Spain in eight out of the twelve practice areas analyzed by the Chambers Global Guide to law firms and lawyers, published by Chambers and Partners. In this latest edition, Garrigues received top honors in the areas of telecommunications, media and technology, real estate, project finance, private equity, public law, and employment, and continues to lead in the litigation and tax areas. In preparing the guide, Chambers and Partners researched the most significant transactions performed by law firms operating in Spain and examined client feedback.
The international guide also publishes the names of the best-qualified lawyers. In total, forty Garrigues professionals were recommended in the different practice areas analyzed, with sixteen professionals receiving the top score.
In addition to these rankings, Chambers and Partners has also awarded special mentions to nine lawyers from various firms operating in Spain for their “exceptional” work, with two Garrigues partners, Ricardo Gómez (tax) and José Guardo (project finance), being singled out.
Chambers and Partners is responsible for some of the most prestigious guides to law firms and lawyers in the world, publishing annual research and rankings in this area in 175 countries across five continents.
