***(09/05/05)*** ![](/sites/default/files/migracion/noticias/en/images/EXPANSION_EXT.jpg)Garrigues has once again topped the ranking published by the financial newspaper Expansión of the best law firms located in Spain, ranking first under both of its headings: billing and number of professionals. In 2004, the Firm’s billings amounted to €175 million, up 6.7% on 2003, and it increased the number of professionals to 1,360.

The Firm currently has 1,700 professionals including lawyers and support personnel. Expansión also publishes a summary of the most significant news items involving law firms in the last year. With regard to Garrigues, the newspaper highlights the formation of Affinitas, the Latin American Alliance of Lawyers created by the Firm, its work as an advisor to the Madrid 2012 Olympic candidature, and the announcement of the opening of an office in Shanghai (China).
