***(22/10/2004)*** Garrigues is recognized, one more year, as the leading Spanish tax firm by the ‘World Tax 2005’ ranking, published annually by ‘Legal Media Group’. The ranking is based on the opinions of persons with top responsibility for the tax field in companies and on the analysis of transactions performed by tax firms in Spain.

Garrigues is the only Spanish firm whose professionals rank first in the six areas of practice of the publication: Ricardo Gómez-Barreda in ‘Capital markets and financial products’ and ‘M&amp;A’; José Palacios in ‘Cross-border structuring’; Eduardo Gardeta in ‘Indirect taxes’; Enrique Fonseca in ‘Tax controversy’ and Abelardo Delgado in ‘Transfer pricing’.

The ‘World Tax 2005’ ranking of the ‘Legal Media Group’ has more than 15 years of experience in reporting on international trade legal affairs and is the undisputed leader in this sector.
