The firm restructured Jofel Industries during insolvency proceedings and in the face of dissenting creditors, combining restructuring tools meant for different scenarios and new to Spain. According to the Financial Times, in 2016, **Garrigues advised on and closed the most innovative restructuring deal in Spain from among those submitted to the award**s.
