![](/sites/default/files/migracion/noticias/en/images/Xihauiinterior.JPG) Xihuai Zhang (Hainan, China, 1978) has a degree in International Relations by the Beijing Foreign Studies University. She started at the Garrigues Chair as a collaborator, and later was included in the coordinating team who’s objective is to impulse all of the projects that the institution develops in Asia.

With the opening of this office in Peking, the Garrigues Chair will further more reinforce its expansion over the Asiatic continent, that began a few months ago with the establishment of different strategic alliances with universities and cultural associations of Asia. In this sense, we could underline the recent agreements with the Government Law Collage of Mumbai (India) and with the Chonnan National University at Southern Korea.

At the moment, the academic institution directed by Rafael Doming has more than 20 collaborators in charge of investigating different areas related to Global Law; having established representation in 10 countries (two representatives in Asia, seven in the American continent and one in Europe); has published 16 books, in between which Universal Jurist and the first law dictionary Japanese-Spanish/Spanish-Japanese stand out.
