Garrigues has once again been honored for its excellence and leading international practice, following on from its first recognition in 2010. Made up of General Counsel and Chief Financial Officers from Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, L’Oreal, Microsoft, Cap Gemini and Disney, the panel of judges recognized the leadership and leading role played by Garrigues over this past year in legal restructuring operations, including deals in the Spanish financial sector and transactions with a strong multijurisdictional component. Garrigues’ corporate strategy, together with its international outlook and outstanding client service, were also singled out for praise by the jury members. In the words of Fernando Vives, Garrigues’ Managing Partner, “this accolade represents recognition of the international standing of our firm, since the International Legal Alliance rewards the leading law firms worldwide, on a country by country basis, from a global perspective”.
