According to provisional year-end figures for the 2007 financial year (September 1, 2006 through August 31, 2007) announced at the Partners’ Meeting in Madrid, Garrigues’ billings for professional services reached €258.6 million, registering an increase of over €35,5 million on the 2006 figures (€223.1 million) and a year-on-year increase of 15.9%. The Partners’ Meeting also ratified the appointment of 24 new partners, taking the total number of the Firm’s ultimate governing body to 230 members. Garrigues is the leading law firm in the Iberian Peninsula, both in terms of volume of business and number of professionals, with 1,963 professionals currently practicing at the Firm (230 partners; 515 associates; 372 senior lawyers and 846 junior lawyers). Including administration and internal services staff, the total headcount at Garrigues now stands at over 2,500. The Firm also boasts a network of 27 offices throughout Spain and Portugal, as well as 6 international offices: New York, Brussels, Shanghai, Casablanca, Warsaw and London (operating as from November).
