**All individuals or legal entities that are registered on the Single Bidders Register (“RUP” by its Spanish abbreviation) must renew their registration no later than the fifth business day of April, in accordance with Decree 1082 of 2015.**





For this year, bidders can renew their registration until April 5 at the Chambers of Commerce where they are registered.

The RUP is a public register on which all domestic or foreign individuals or legal entities that are domiciled in Colombia and are interested in participating procurement processes called by state entities must register. The register is managed by the Chambers of Commerce, where registration or renewal of registration on the RUP must be applied for no later than next April 5.

This public register contains information on the bidder’s experience, legal capacity, financial capacity, organizational capacity and type of business activity. The register also contains reports issued by state entities on the contracts and any firm fines, penalties and disqualifications relating to the bidder.
