# Clients choose Garrigues as the Leading Firm in Continental Europe

The Chambers&Partners ‘Euro 100 Survey’ has ranked Garrigues the Leading Firm in Continental Europe, as well the highest of all Spanish firms. The survey was prepared from the opinions of the one hundred most important listed enterprises in Europe. In the words of the publication, “Garrigues takes the honor as the leading Continental Firm”. Clients scored the services provided by firms in different practice areas. The Survey especially mentioned the Firm’s advisory services offered in the corporate/commercial, tax, financial services and international areas. Only firms from English-speaking countries at the forefront of the legal industry throughout Europe were ranked ahead of Garrigues.

The Chambers&Partners survey highlights that law firms are currently doing well due, in large part, to the strong momentum generated by the European M&A market, particularly in the energy industry. Of the firms taking part in the survey, 42 are located in the United Kingdom (according to the survey, this extensive presence accounts for the strong leadership of the British firms), 21 in France, 13 in Germany, 9 in the Netherlands, 7 in Spain, and 5 in Italy.
Chambers&Partners publishes one of the most prestigious guides to law firms and lawyers in the world, publishing annual research and rankings in this area in 175 countries across five continents.
