Object:Extensions of the high-speed, high-capacity transport networks (optical fiber) and installation of access networks in the departments of Ancash, Arequipa, La Libertad, Huánuco, Pasco and San Martín, with a combined extension of approximately 9,881km.
Financial structure: Self-funded projects (project in assets).
Value of the investment: Approximately US$ 359 million.
Term:Twelve (12) year concession agreement.
Title-holder of the concessioned activity: Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) and Regional Governments of Ancash, Arequipa, La Libertad, Huánuco, Pasco and San Martín.
Status of process: The following awards were made on December 27, 2018: (i) the projects corresponding to the Áncash, La Libertad, Arequipa and San Martín regions were awarded to the Yofc Network Consortium, made up of Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Company (Hong Kong) Limited (China) and Yachay Telecomunicaciones S.A.C. (Peru); and (ii) the projects in respect of the Huánuco and Pasco regions were awarded to the Bandtel Consortium, made up of the Peruvian companies Consorcio DHMONT & CG & M S.A.C., DHMONT S.A.C.
