José María Ruiz Ilundáin is the partner in charge of Garrigues’ office in San Sebastián, where he heads up the corporate/commercial law area of the office. He specializes in commercial and corporate law and, in particular, in sales and purchases and mergers of companies, both in Spain and abroad, corporate reorganizations, private equity, joint ventures and commercial contracts in general.

He has participated as a lecturer in the Master’s Degree in Business Law at Universidad de Navarra and has been a guest lecturer at Universidad del País Vasco. He is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences taught by Garrigues, as well as various specialist centers (ADEGI, APD, etc.), and has written a range of articles and publications on current affairs in relation to his areas of expertise. He has been singled out as leading corporate, restructuring and insolvency practitioner by international directories such as Best Lawyers and International Law Office (Client Choice). Member of the Guipúzcoa and Pamplona Bar Associations. Arbitrator of the Arbitration Court of the Gipuzkoa Chamber of Commerce.

He specializes in commercial and corporate law and, in particular, in sales and purchases and mergers of companies, both in Spain and abroad, corporate reorganizations, private equity, joint ventures and commercial contracts in general.

He is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences taught by Garrigues, as well as various specialist centers (ADEGI, APD, etc.), and has written a range of articles and publications on current affairs in relation to his areas of expertise.
