Fernando Campón Durán has been a member of the Cáceres bar association since 1984, which enables him to practice law throughout Spain. Until February 1989 he was a lawyer in the Legal Department of the Extremadura Autonomous Community Government, where he was the head of the department for a period of time. After this, he devoted his time to private practice at Asesores en Derecho and R. Hernández Mancha y Asociados, S.L. until 2001, which is when he joined Garrigues. He is currently the partner in charge of the Garrigues Extremadura office.
During his time in private practice he has participated in the drafting of numerous implementing regulations, in particular in the urban planning area, participating in planning management processes, assuming the legal area of instruments such as subdivision plats.
In the education area, he has been a lecturer in courses conducted by the School of Public Administration of the Extremadura Autonomous Community Government. He has also been a lecturer at the School of Legal Practice of the Cáceres Bar Association. He has been a speaker and taught classes in numerous courses organized by public and private entities.
