Peru Launches International Renewable Energy Auction

Pursuant to the Regulations on Renewable Energy Electricity Generation, approved by Supreme Decree No. 012-2011-EM, the Supervisory Body for Investment in Energy and Mines (“OSINERGMIN”) has called the fourth auction for the supply of electricity generated using renewable energy sources (the so-called “RER auctions”) to the National Interconnected Electricity System (“SEIN”).
