The Garrigues Italian Desk pools the experience and knowledge of practitioners working in a range of legal specialties and at various offices to serve the interests of Spanish clients in Italy and Italian clients in Spain, also offering a quality service in Italian.
To this end, the Desk provides advisory services to Italian clients looking to invest or operate in Spain (through our extensive network of offices throughout Spain), Portugal (through Garrigues Portugal) and Latin America (via the Affinitas network of law firms), as well as to Spanish operators with interests in Italy, through our network of associated Italian law firms.
In addition to advising enterprises in the start-up phase in Italy or Spain (through corporate establishments or using any other contractual form of commercial organization), the Italian Desk is also involved in numerous transactions involving the restructuring of corporate groups, the sale and purchase of companies or share holdings in listed and unlisted companies, real estate transactions and in insolvency and litigation matters in general.
It also provides assistance with corporate and project finance and capital markets, as well as coordinating the tax and legal aspects of international transactions and trade between the two countries.
