Vanessa Sánchez Balboa is a principal associate in the Labor and Employment Law department.
She has extensive expertise in advising domestic companies and multinationals, with particular experience in business restructuring processes (collective procedures (ERE) and business acquisitions, individual dismissals, mergers, spin-offs), outsourcing and subcontracting transactions, litigation, senior management contracts, social security contributions, applicable contract-based incentives and benefits, social security benefits and services and supplementary employee welfare programs.
She has participated in numerous collective processes, such as labor restructuring, collective dismissals, collective labor agreements, material modifications to working conditions, transfers, harmonization and standardization of working conditions, temporary layoffs, collective labor agreement opt-outs, company policies and protocols.
She also provides recurring advice to companies in the automotive, insurance, tourism and hotel industries, as well as to family businesses.
She is a lecturer on the Master’s Degree in Legal Practice at Universidad Internacional de Catalunya and regularly speaks at labor law courses organized by the Foment del Treball Nacional employers’ association.
