Sergio Amiel

Experience:

Lawyer specializing in mergers and acquisitions, the structuring of projects and project finance, and the capital markets.

He was a partner at Rubio Leguía Normand and has spent a significant portion of his career in New York, as an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.

As part of the Public Service Fellowship Program at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, he was deputy director of the Technical Affairs Department of the Private Investment Promotion Agency of Peru (ProInversión).

In the academic field, he teaches on the mergers & acquisitions course as part of the Master’s Degree in Business Law of the School of Postgraduate Studies of Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas.
