Pablo de Juan is partmer in the Oviedo’s Garrigues Office, Law Firm where he has been performing his professional career after his experience in Arthur Andersen. He is specialized in Tax Law, especially in family business and company restructuring.
Among other fields, he is specialized in the treatment of Family Business issues, design and implementation of patrimonial restructuring as well as general tax planning and advice to either companies or individuals.
On the other hand, he provides recurrent advice on tax matters to national and multinational company groups, not only in tax consolidation regime, but also in planning processes related to corporate restructuring and internationalization.
He actively works on the design and implementation of numerous corporate operations, such as company trading, mergers, splits, nonmonetary contributions, tittle swap operations, capital contributions to offset losses, credit capitalization and other corporate operations.
He usually works with family businesses on the design of the most appropriate property structure from the tax and patrimonial point of view for shareholders and company and also, on the definition of the most suitable investment vehicles to family business strategy.
Mr. de Juan is an associate professor of Innove Institute, Business School of León, since 2010. He teaches different subjects on taxation fields. Also, he is the director of the MBA specialized on Family Business.
Pablo de Juan is a member of the Colegio de Economistas of León, where he was the secretary of the Govern Board from December 2005 until January 2010.
On the other hand, he is an usual speaker in seminaries and conferences of the Firm and also of other different institutions, such as Federación Leonesa de Empresarios, Círculo Empresarial Leonés, Universidad de León, Colegio de Economistas de León, Asociación Leonesa de Mujeres Empresarias, Fundación General de la Universidad de León y de la Empresa, Cámara de Comercio, Parque Tecnológico de León, among others.
He is an associated partner of Seniors Españoles para la Cooperación Técnica (SECOT), an institution where he works as consultant to entrepeneurs and businessmen with no means of support.
Degree in Administration and Business Management in Oviedo’s University.
Beneficiary of Erasmus grant, having performed a whole academic course in Economic and Business University of Copenhague (Copenhaguen Business School).
