Experience:

Following a period of work experience in Brussels at a law firm specializing in labor and employment law (Taquet Bureau d’Advocats) in 1986-87, she joined the Employment and Labor Law Department at LM&U Abogados.

She joined Garrigues in 1991 and has worked at the Barcelona Labor and Employment Law Department since then.

She has broad professional experience in all areas of labor, employment and social security law, as well as related litigation issues.

She has extensive expertise in arranging and terminating senior executive contracts and in drafting clauses specific to contracts of this type, particularly in the financial sector and other regulated industries.

She has participated in numerous business restructuring processes, mainly at multinational companies, involving internal flexibility measures, such as the modification of working conditions, and external flexibility measures, such as collective layoffs, voluntary redundancies and pre-retirement processes.

She is an expert in the formalization of labor aspects deriving from outsourcing procedures and the negotiation processes associated with such transactions.

She has also participated in the negotiation and structuring of supplementary employee welfare programs on a collective basis and for one or a number of individuals.

She is a regular speaker at seminars, symposiums and specialist courses in employment law.

Member of the Barcelona Bar Association. Active member of the Spanish Forum for Labor Lawyers (FORELAB) since its creation and member of the European Employment Lawyers Association (ELLA) since 1998.
