Marlén González Pérez is senior associate of the Insolvency Law, Civil Law, Litigation, Contractual Law and Corporate/Commercial Law practices.
She has extensive experience in providing legal and strategic assistance to companies in financial distress, advising on both pre-insolvency matters (notification under article 5 bis of the Insolvency Law, refinancing agreements, negotiating with creditors, etc.) and insolvency proceedings. She has acted as legal counsel to the insolvent party in numerous proceedings, leading and conducting the entire process (common phase, arrangement with creditors or, where appropriate, liquidation). She has participated in asset clawback actions and in the assessment phase, defending both the insolvent party and corporate directors affected by the insolvency assessment. She also has experience in advising creditors in all phases of insolvency proceedings.
She also practices in the fields of civil and commercial litigation and arbitration, assisting clients at all instances.
Marlén González is a member of the Gijón Bar Association.
