Juan Antonio Oliveros is a senior associate in the tax practice.
He has extensive experience advising on the main matters affecting family businesses, such as the management and maintenance of their business or personal assets, the family members’ relationship with the company, or the establishment of mechanisms that implement suitable planning in the succession of the business.
An expert in real estate taxation, he advises companies and individuals on the issues and special tax matters affecting the development, construction, leasing and management of a portfolio of properties, or issues affecting indirect taxation, financing, or redevelopment of real estate.
In addition, he provides recurring advice to consolidated tax groups, as well as on business restructurings (mergers or acquisitions) or refinancing transactions.
He is a lecturer in the Official Master’s in Legal Practice at the FEBF and he collaborates with the CEF in organizing tax refresher courses.
He participates regularly in presentations, breakfasts and talks organized by Garrigues in such areas as family businesses, shareholder, director and senior manager compensation, etc.
He has also participated as a speaker in seminars organized by the ICAV or COEV on matters relating to the taxation of family businesses or flexible remuneration systems.
