José Luis Cebrián



Jose Luis Cebrián has been a partner in Garrigues’ Labor and Employment Law Department since 2002, where he has pursued his professional career following several years practicing law at the labor union Unión General de Trabajadores. He specializes in labor and employment law, in particular in relation to collective bargaining, labor union law and restructuring, and is a renowned specialist in all such areas.

Among other areas, he is an expert in collective bargaining at all levels, both industry and company-specific, and is the lawyer of choice of various employers’ confederations and corporate groups. His wealth of professional experience also includes a stage as a member of the National Consultation Committee on Collective Agreements.

Elsewhere, he has also advised on labor restructuring-related matters on the highest-profile deals in Spain in recent years in an array of industries (consumer goods, chemical, metal, services, new technologies, communications, transport industries, etc.).

Jose Luis Cebrián has featured in several directories, such as the Chambers Europe edition (employment practice area) of Chambers&Partners since its creation, forming part of the team of employment experts singled out for praise by the directory, which ranks Garrigues as one of the top labor law firms in Spain.
