Javier Valderrama joined the firm in 2007 and is principal associate in the Tax practice area.
He has considerable experience in the provision of tax advisory services to both Spanish companies and Spanish subsidiaries of multinational groups, both listed and unlisted.
In particular, he provides tax advice on an ongoing basis to insurance companies and other operators in the insurance sector, analyzing and offering solutions for the various tax-related problems routinely arising in the course of their business operations.
As a member of the group specializing in the provision of advisory services in respect of private equity and venture capital transactions, he has taken part in projects for the acquisition of companies and/or businesses, and in business restructuring processes.
He also provides tax and accounting advisory services to companies in the food, telecommunications, manufacturing and distribution sectors.
Javier Valderrama teaches on some of the courses given at Centro de Estudios Garrigues and is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
