Fernando Santos Cubero
Fernando Santos is a senior associate in the Tax practice area.
He has considerable experience in the provision of ongoing tax advisory services to multinational groups, financial institutions and insurance companies, and in private equity M&A transactions, restructuring processes and due diligence reviews.
He has also played an active part in the analysis of financial products, being an expert in debt and preference share issues carried out by Spanish and international issuers, and in the structuring of securitization funds. In both these and other areas, he regularly works in coordination with lawyers from a variety of other jurisdictions.
He also regularly provides advisory services during tax inspection and investigation proceedings, and in economic-administrative and judicial review procedures.
Fernando has spoken at various courses relating to the taxation of financial transactions organized by different credit institutions and private banks in association with Centro de Estudios Garrigues.
He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
