Federico Espinosa Fernández



Federico Espinosa Fernández is an associate in the Banking and Finance, Corporate Law and Commercial Contracts practice area.

In 2014, he won the Universidad de los Andes Award in recognition of his outstanding academic record. That same year, he also won the Legal Publishing Award, which is granted by the Universidad de los Andes Law Faculty to the best fifth-year student.
In the academic field, he has been Assistant Professor of Civil Law at Universidad de los Andes since 2016. 
He has served as assistant to the professorships of Procedural law, Criminal law and Constitutional law at Universidad de los Andes.
Prior to joining Garrigues, he was an associate at Estudio de Abogados Morales & Besa, where he practiced primarily in the areas of banking and finance and corporate law.
