Diego Vicente is a Partner in the Litigation and Arbitration Department at Garrigues, where he has pursued his professional career since 1999.
He can boast a wealth of experience of handling civil and corporate/commercial litigation, focusing his activity above all on contractual and noncontractual liability-related disputes, unfair competition, company law (challenging corporate resolutions, breach of side agreements, preemptive acquisition rights, directors liability), breach of investment agreements, as well as litigation relating to the commercialization and distribution of investment and financial products.
He has defended the interests of major national and international companies across an array of industries and, in particular, the construction, distribution, insurance and financial and investment services industries.
He regularly acts in proceedings before both the courts and the various arbitration institutions both domestically (Spanish Arbitration Court, the Civil and Commercial Court of Arbitration, the Court of Arbitration of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and internationally (ICC).
He has lectured on the Master’s Degree in Company Law at Universidad de Navarra since 2012 and contributes to the Master’s Degree on Access to the legal profession at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid since 2013.
Practicing member of the Madrid Bar Association since 1999.
Degree in Law from Universidad de Navarra (1998).
Course in foreign trade from the Castilla y León Exports Institute (EXCAL), obtaining a grant from the above body to promote overseas exports from Castilla y León (1999).
