Cristina is a principal associate in the Intellectual Property Department.
She has extensive experience in due diligence procedures and sale and purchase transactions relating to intangible assets, in contractual matters, in addition to being an expert in the prosecution and enforcement of plant variety rights.
She also provides recurring advice on patents, know-how, trademarks and designs, in proceedings before the Office for the Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM), acting as legal counsel in proceedings before the General Court of the European Union. She has a wealth of experience in intellectual property litigation, anti-counterfeiting and customs proceedings, as well as in advising on alternative dispute resolution procedures.
Following a stint at a well-known London IP firm, she maintains strong ties with English-speaking clients.
She lectures on plant variety rights in the Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property at the University of Alicante. She also lectures on intellectual property rights in the Master’s Degree at the Cardenal Herrera CEU University, Elche.
Cristina is a member of the Alicante Bar Association.
