Ángel Suárez Corrons
Ángel Suárez Corrons is currently a senior associate in the Litigation practice. He joined the firm as a senior associate in the Firm’s Administrative Law Department in January 2007, and has pursued his career in both practices since then, but from 2013 with an emphasis on private procedural law.
He has extensive experience in all kinds of administrative proceedings (penalty proceedings, public procurement, administrative appeals, etc.) and he has been involved in numerous matters relating to public assets, authorizations and concessions, public service, mining, energy, telecommunications, etc.
In addition, he provides ongoing advice to clients on energy, environmental, urban planning and real estate matters.
Ángel has acted as legal counsel in numerous judicial proceedings in the civil, criminal and judicial review jurisdictions through all their phases.
He has special expertise in renewable energy matters, having been, prior to his joining the firm, counsel for Gamesa Energy in Castilla, León, Asturias and Santander (2001-2007).
He has taught courses, given lectures and engaged in various educational activities in these areas for, among others, the León Employers Federation, the León Chamber of Commerce, the University of León and the Ponferrada Chamber of Commerce.
Ángel Suárez Corrons is a member of the León Bar Association.
