Adasat Afonso Martín
Adasat Afonso is a senior associate in the Litigation and Arbitration, and Criminal Law practices.
After studying for the public exams to become a judge, he has pursued his career at Garrigues since joining in 2007, practicing corporate criminal law and business law.
He has broad experience in conducting all kinds of criminal proceedings, particularly in relation to corporate crimes, crimes against the public treasury, fraud, crimes against natural resources and the environment, and crimes against worker safety, among others. He also has extensive expertise in drafting reports and legal opinions on criminal matters.
He provides recurring advice to companies and executives on the design and implementation of corporate compliance programs aimed at preventing or reducing the criminal liability of legal entities.
He is a regular speaker at seminars and courses organized by Garrigues and other specialist centers.
Adasat Afonso is a member of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Bar Association.
